Even though it’s 6 pockets, in number, do not exceed many of our recommended bags the amount of room they provide does. Our Runner Up – for Best Golf Bags under 200 dollars

This is the first Nike bag that has cracked our top-5 but we really feel the Golf Sport Lite Carry Stand Bag is a deserved runner up in the category. It is very much in contrast and purpose as compared to our top selection. A lightweight and economic bag with more than enough features to justify its price.

At 3.7 lbs it is considerably lighter than the other bags on our list. This weight reduction helps compensate for the fact that there is less padding on the straps than some of the other bags keeping it a reasonable comfortable carry. As a stand bag, the Golf Sport Lite Carry Stand Bag, works very well. The legs are well secured to the bag when walking and work well when place to the ground leaving the bag well stabilized.

The 5-way top includes an oversized putter well so club space is not an issue. In the interest of weight reduction, the handle usually found at the top of the golf bag, has been removed. There are 6 pockets spread across the bag including a water-resistant fleece-lined valuables pocket, full length apparel pocket and also an easily accessed beverage sleeve. Even if not insulated it still does a great job of keeping refreshments within arm’s reach. While some bags may have slightly more storage capacity the Nike offering is more than enough for the needs of the standard golfer. 

It comes in 3 different color arrangements and the bags material is easily wiped clean to keep the bag looking fresh. Our intention in this series of reviews was not only to give you a straight top 5 but list but also offer you some different styled bags in the specified price ranges and we feel that the Golf Sport Lite Carry Stand Bag is exactly that.
