Fall is here and wet conditions are upon many of us! If you are like us, the chaotic weather in many countries and regions may have already left you needing to stay dry throughout the summer months all too often. Our best golf rain gear 2021/2022 rankings is here to evaluate the golf clothing meant to keep you dry.

For many golfers rain is a nightmare to deal with. Not only is keeping clubs and grips dry a constant struggle, many golfers feel their motion constrained while wearing rain gear. For years I grabbed any weatherproof jacket from the closet only to get onto the course and spend my round thinking about not feeling comfortable. Luckily I found the products that allowed me to navigate adverse conditions in a much better way. I promise you that it still has not made me a fan of playing in a monsoon. What is has done is really helped me adapt and be able to focus much more in wet conditions.

As with our other latest ranking lists, the best golf rain gear 2021/2022 is intended to be a dynamic list. We hope to add items as we get a chance to try them out over the next year or so. So you might want to check in from time to time to see if something new has come along. Generally, we concentrate on newer items that have more recently come to market. Galway Bay Golf All-Weather Long Sleeve Jacket

When we sat down to discuss wet weather golf clothing, I hijacked the discussion and made the Galway Bay Golf All-Weather Long Sleeve Jacket the first item up for debate amongst our group. I admit that I am coming in with a bias since it is one of two rain jackets that I go to when the weather turns. 

I had actually given Galway weatherproofs a try based on reading reviews a couple of years back. There are currently two color options available, both being primarily black, which suits me very well. I don’t look to my rain gear to be flashy and eye catching as much as keeping me dry and warm this Galway Bay Golf jacket does exactly that. With waterproof sealed seams and zippers rain is left on the outside while the breathability of this jacket manages to stop you from feeling like a walking sauna like many lesser quality rain jackets do.       

There may be trendier names in golf that people are gravitating towards these days and I have my fair share of those items as well. But I can tell you that I have no intention of retiring my Galway rain jacket for one of those anytime soon.
